first tooth!

thatch finally has his first tooth! it is just barely in...but it is there! yea! he's almost 9 months, army crawling everywhere (and almost crawling), pulling up, eating like a chunk, finally sleeping good...happy, laughing, and "talking" a lot. we are having so much fun!

we went to get our christmas tree yesterday and i finished decorating it last night...here's thatch at 8 months.

fall pics

it was a beautiful fall day and we enjoyed the weather downtown.

thatch is dedicated...so dedicated.

we had thatch's baby dedication this morning. our prayer and hopes for thatch is that he will know and experience God's love...and as he is so "alert" even from the moment of birth... that his heart will be awake to the presence of God in his life and in the world around him.

6 months and starting solids!

the last couple of weeks thatch has been sitting...not for long...but still sitting!

we don't ever get tired of making thatch laugh...and about anything will make him laugh, a fake sneeze or travis dancing (that makes me laugh too).

well, we bought one...a huge thing in the middle of the living room...never say never...but it's all about thatch, right? he loves it.

our walks

the weather has been beautiful and thatch & i have been enjoying our daily walks...and this is the cute face staring back at me!!...he starts the walk as a baby, and by the end of the walk he turns into a rapper with his hat crooked.

our little boy

he's growing and changing! yea! he's rolling across the room...staring at his fingers, reaching out and grabbing everything in sight! and now he has gone from putting his whole fist in his mouth, to putting individual fingers in there!...and oh so much drool!

thatch is taking everything in...and he does it with this little furrowed eyebrow...i think it is his neutral facial expression between smiles. he is really enjoying "reading books" and looking at all the colorful pictures!

aunt emily caught him laughing and got this great pic! (she's here visiting and it has been so much fun to have her here!)this was only his second laugh...and this time he was laughing so hard, it was amazing!
