walking

From first park experience

well, as of last monday, thatch is officially walking. and he is getting more stable each day. he is just so cute when he walks...i love it. today at church he was walking all over the place. he must have worn himself out because he fell asleep on the way home. (and he NEVER falls asleep in the car.)

it was a beautiful day yesterday, so we took thatch to the park for the first time to play. he loved the slide (with some help of course) and loved watching the other kids. i can't wait for this summer, we are going to have so much fun!

update on the thatch front

thatch is so much fun. and he is into EVERYTHING! he loves to pull things out of drawers and baskets...and spread them around the room. we've put locks on all the drawers we can...and the other ones, we've dedicated as his toy chests. he takes each item out one by one and examines them. i love watching him explore everything!

in the last few weeks he has taken his first steps! and he can stand by himself for a little bit...he's stronger and stronger everyday. crazy!

and he is a good eater. (and by that i mean he eats anything we put in front of him and he's a bottomless pit!) he loves meat of all kinds, loves his greens and i think he could eat a whole jar of applesauce if we let him.

this last week he decided he was finished with his morning nap. i was a little surprised it was so abrupt, but he has been so happy all morning long and is ready for his nap in the afternoon. it is so nice to have him up for more of the day.

we're having fun and i feel like he is changing every day! he's growing up on me.
